Engineer Associate II - Inspections (Open Positions: 1)

Announcement Number: 1748407974 The purpose of the class is to perform technical engineering and administrative work to support the inspection of road, drainage, sediment and erosion control projects in commercial and residential developments; to supervise subordinate technicians as assigned; to provide professional and courteous customer service, and to perform related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.Requires Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with emphasis in engineering technology, civil engineering or a closely related field.Must possess a valid state driver's license. Must possess or be able to obtain DHEC Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspector certification and Department of Transportation Road Inspector certification. Requires four or more years of related job experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
